RETURN, REFUND, and EXCHANGE POLICY

PLEASE READ THE RETURN, REFUND, EXCHANGE POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE.


RETURN POLICY


WARNING: Please understand that you must contact us via email at returns@trailcity4x4.com prior to any attempt to return or exchange any item in its new, unopened condition or in damaged condition. Trail City LLC has multiple warehouses throughout the country. Therefore, you will need proper instructions for your item to be shipped and received at the correct receiving warehouse. Failure to do so may result in your shipment getting lost and NO credit issued. Please contact returns@trailcity4x4.com for further instructions. At this time our customer service team will assign you a Return Merchandise Authorization Number or (RMA). Items returned to us without prior notification, and/or missing an RMA number, will NOT be accepted for a refund and you risk the item being refused and returned to you again. In this case, you, the purchaser, will be responsible for paying any associated shipping costs in order for us to send the unwanted item back to you. All returned products are to be accompanied by the original invoice, RMA paperwork and any other paperwork associated with the original order and return procedures as recommended by our returns dept. PLEASE NOTE: There will be specific instructions for returning each of the following category types of items: wheels, tires, lift kits and all other items. Please see our policies as they pertain to your particular item category.


Returns cannot be processed over the Phone. Our customer service agents do not authorize returns, they do not issue RMA #'s. PLEASE email returns@trailcity4x4.com for return information.



If you are not completely satisfied with your order you may return most new, unopened items which were not special orders within 7 days of the delivery date for a full refund of the purchase price less all associated shipping costs (to and from), any restock fees and any other associated fees with your individual item. Items should be returned in their original packaging and in original shipped packaging. All returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Refunds do not include shipping costs or added fees such as a restock fee or cancellation fee. All Returns must be shipped prepaid by the purchaser. Any attempt to return merchandise with by use of COD will be refused. We suggest using a carrier such as UPS or Fed Ex that is traceable and that also provides insurance. Trail City LLC is not responsible for return shipping on any returns. Special order items are non-returnable. We will not accept returns on merchandise that were opened, used, installed, that has been painted or altered in any way, missing original packaging, missing pieces, missing the serial number or UPC, or returned more then 30 days after your order date. Credit will be issued the same way as purchased. Any Local pickup orders paid with cash will be issued a refund check. Freight on the initial order will NOT be credited. If you purchased the item you are returning under a Free Shipping Promotion the actual freight incurred by our warehouse to ship the product will be deducted from the credit. Returns sent back freight collect will either not be accepted, or not credited, or will have the shipping costs deducted from the return credit, at the discretion of Trail City LLC. We reserve the right to inspect, or have our agents inspect, all returns before issuing a credit. We reserve the right to refuse any return for any reason. If you have an issue with an order that was clearly the mistake of Trail City LLC, we will issue a full refund including applicable shipping costs. However, this does not include any issues dealing with fitness of an item nor does it cover any items that were incorrectly looked up or listed on our site. Please see our Terms and Conditions page for additional information on fitness and errors. Please also refer to our Description of Items section at the bottom of this page.




POLICY AND PROCEDURE FOR TIRES AND WHEELS


Check all wheels for correct fitment BEFORE mounting tires on them. Check all tires for correct fitment including that you have received the correct size BEFORE mounting to wheel. Inform your installer of this before tires are mounted on the wheels. BEFORE attempting to return any tire or wheel, you must first take pictures of the each item wanting to be returned and email these pictures along with a description of reason being returned to returns@trailcity4x4.com .


Mounted wheels CANNOT be returned. Mounted tires CANNOT be returned. TIRES with any evidence of mounting, cuts or damage to the bead area may not be returned and will be sent back to you unless otherwise approved for return by the returns dept. Wheels that have any marks from tire bars, scratches, chipping, peeling, blemishes, rubber marks, damage to the lip or valve stem area may not be returned unless otherwise approved for return by the returns dept. Any defective wheel and/or tire will be handled by the corresponding manufacturer at their discretion. You may contact service@trailcity4x4.com for further assistance and contact information of the manufacturer of the item in question.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS CHECK LIST



TIRES ONLY



1. Email Trail City LLC Customer Service for Return Authorization Instructions at service@trailcity4x4.com Failure to do this first will result in refusal of your return or exchange request.

2. Original strapping/packaging should be completely intact and in their original packaging. Straps must not be broken. (If not, please ship tires individually and DO NOT tape it together for it might break and loose and Trail City LLC will not be responsible for damage as a result of poor packaging and/or missing items.

3. Tires should not be damaged, installed or used in any way. Only brand new tires are allowable for return. If the tires were received on a pallet via truck freight, they need to be returned via truck freight on a pallet or your return will be subject to refusal.

4. Each tire should be clearly labeled with your return address and the ship to address that was given to you by customer service, even when strapped to another tire. Ensure that all shipping labels and RMA numbers are clearly readable on each item.

5. Packing slip with Return Authorization Number should be attached securely on tire.

6. RMA numbers, must be clearly visible and legible on the packing slip.


WHEELS ONLY

2. Original boxes as well as the shipping boxes (if applicable) should be completely intact and the wheel should be in its original packaging inside each box. BE SURE to use heavy grade tape on all open ended boxes to ensure wheel box will not fall out the bottom in transit. Trail City LLC will not be responsible for damage as a result of poor packaging and/or missing items.

LIFT KITS AND ALL OTHER ITEMS

2. Original boxes as well as the shipping boxes (if applicable) should be completely intact and the lift kit should be in its original packaging inside each box. BE SURE to use heavy grade tape on all open ended boxes to ensure parts will not fall out the bottom in transit. BE SURE to properly tape closed any loose parts bags so they will not come apart inside the box and become lost in shipping. Trail City LLC will not be responsible for damage as a result of poor packaging and/or missing items.

3. Lift Kits should not be damaged, installed or used in any way. Only brand new lift kits are allowable for return. If the lift kits were received on a pallet via truck freight, they need to be returned via truck freight on a pallet or your return will be subject to refusal.

4. Each lift kit box should be clearly labeled with your return address and the ship to address that was given to you by customer service, even when strapped together or on a pallet. Ensure that all shipping labels and RMA numbers are clearly readable on each item.

5. Packing slip with Return Authorization Number should be attached securely on each box.

6. RMA numbers, must be clearly visible and legible on the packing slip


DEFECTIVE / WARRANTIED ITEMS


Defective merchandise is warranted per individual manufacturer’s warranty policies. Shipping costs are not included on most warranty merchandise. Please see our Defective Items page for more detailed information.
